Bajaj Finance shares are down by 6.94%, trading at Rs 1009.70. Bajaj Finserv share price is down by 6.12%, trading at Rs 1988.60. Bajaj Finance yesterday declared its September quarter result. It lowered its growth forecast for Assets under Management (AUM) for FY 26 because of the stress that it is seeing in its MSME loan portfolio. The company has lowered its growth guidance for AUM for FY 26 to 22-23% from the earlier 24-25%.
The stress that Bajaj Finserv is seeing in its MSME (micro, small and medium enterprises) portfolio may also point to the broader weakness in the economy and MSME segment. Many MSME companies have come under pressure because of higher US tariffs.
