Orbit Exports Q2FY26 Profit Declines 37% Sequentially; Stock Slides Over 7.3%

Mumbai, October 17, 2025: Orbit Exports Limited (BSE: 512626, NSE: ORBTEXP) reported a sharp sequential decline in profit for the quarter ended September 30, 2025, amid lower operating income and higher material costs. Orbit Exports’ stock price slipped 7.33% to ₹202.03 at 2:09 PM IST on Friday following the results.
Orbit Exports Limited, based in Mumbai, manufactures and exports specialty textiles, fashion fabrics, and home décor. Orbit Exports Limited is listed on both BSE and NSE under the ‘Other Textiles Products’ sub-segment. The company primarily sells to global markets, predominantly supplying the US and Europe.
Key Financial Highlights (₹ in lakh)
Orbit Exports Limited reported lower earnings for the quarter ended September 2025 (Q2 FY26). The company’s revenue from operations fell to ₹5,718.73 lakh, down 13.2% from the previous quarter and 3.2% compared to the same quarter last year. Total income also dropped to ₹6,304.28 lakh, down 11% sequentially and 9.4% YoY.
Total expenses were ₹5,019.34 lakh, slightly lower than the previous quarter but 3.9% higher than last year. As a result, profit before tax came in at ₹1,339.77 lakh, down 30.5% QoQ and 37.9% YoY, while net profit stood at ₹1,005.26 lakh, falling 33% from the previous quarter and 37.2% year-on-year.
The company’s earnings per share (EPS) were ₹3.79, down from ₹5.67 in Q1 FY26 and ₹6.04 in Q2 FY25. Overall, the quarter showed pressure on Orbit Exports’ revenues and profits due to lower sales and higher operating costs.
H1 FY26 Performance
For the half year ended September 30, 2025, Orbit Exports posted a net profit of ₹2,506.11 lakh, compared to ₹2,580.49 lakh in H1FY25, reflecting a marginal decline of 2.9%. Revenue from operations for the six-month period rose to ₹12,306.38 lakh, up 10.8% year-on-year, indicating steady export demand despite pricing pressures.
Balance Sheet & Capital
As of September 2025, Orbit Exports Limited’s capital structure remains stable. The paid-up equity share capital rose marginally from ₹2,646.97 lakh in March 2025 to ₹2,651.12 lakh. The company’s other equity figures are unaudited and are not separately disclosed for the quarter, but were at ₹24,685.63 lakh in the previous quarter. As for the quarter ending September 2025, the company reported basic EPS of ₹3.79, compared with ₹14.74 for FY25.

As of 2:09 PM, Orbit Exports Limited’s share price was trading at ₹202, a 7.33% decline. Orbit Exports Limited shares have gained 8.7% in the last year, dipped 11.9% in the year-to-date, and up 12.8% in the previous six months.
