Mumbai August, 19: Oriana Power Limited has received an Engineering, Procurement and Commissioning (EPC) contract worth ₹214.80 crore, including GST, for setting up and developing solar power projects with an aggregate capacity of 50 MW in Rajasthan.
According to the company’s exchange disclosure, the contract has been awarded by a leading player in the cement industry. The scope covers engineering, procurement and commissioning services for the solar projects.
The company said the EPC work is scheduled to be completed within nine months. Following the commercial operation date and handover, the contract also includes a 10-year operation and maintenance period.
The order is a domestic contract and, according to the filing, does not involve any promoter or promoter group interest in the awarding entity. It also does not fall under related-party transactions.
