New Delhi, September 8, 2025 – Oravel Stays, the parent of OYO, has rebranded itself as Prism with a new corporate identity to consolidate its variant businesses as it prepares for an IPO. The rebranding highlights the group’s commitment to simplifying its corporate structure and bolstering investor confidence ahead of going public.

Since its inception in 2012, OYO has evolved into a travel-tech platform with over 100 million customers across 35+ countries. The rebranding reinforces the group’s intentions to galvanize a sharper, consolidated brand to position for its anticipated IPO.

Building A Unified Future-Ready Business Architecture

In a letter to shareholders, Founder and Chairman Ritesh Agarwal stated that “Prism will help us work more efficiently and clearly communicate who we are. It will tie together our different brands without losing what makes each one unique,”.

The new name, established through a global naming competition with over 6,000 entries, is intended to reflect the company’s multiple business lines clearly.

OYO To Remain The Consumer-Facing Brand

In the structural change, OYO continues to be the consumer-facing brand in the budget and midscale space, amidst the rebranding of the company to Prism. The larger Prism structure will add luxury, vacation homes, locations for work and technology platforms.

Portfolio Of Businesses

The newly formed business entity, ‘Prism’, will include multiple brands across industry sectors:

  • Hotels: Portfolio includes brands such as OYO, Motel 6, Townhouse, Sunday and Palette.
  • Vacation homes: In vacation homes, it operates brands such as Belvilla, DanCenter, CheckMyGuest, and Studio Prestige.
  • Extended stays: Extended stays are represented through Studio 6, which was also acquired through G6 Hospitality in the US.
  • Workspaces and celebration spaces: This is offered through Innov8 and Weddingz. In.

The group also offers technology solutions in hospitality, AI partner tools and data science platforms.
