Pasupati Acrylon Surges to Near 52-Week High on ₹215 Crore Ethanol Allocation Under EBPP

New Delhi, Friday, October 31, 2025 – Shares of Pasupati Acrylon Ltd (NSE: PASUPTAC; BSE: 500456) opened at ₹59.50, a 12.39% increase, hovering very close to its 52-week high of ₹59.71. The early morning rally in the share price came after the company announced that it had received a major ethanol supply allocation worth ₹215 crore under the government’s Ethanol Blended Petrol Programme (EBPP).
Ethanol Supply Allocation Details
As per the company’s regulatory filing, the supply allocation has been awarded collectively by the Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) under India’s ethanol blending initiative. This includes Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL), Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL), and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL). The allocation volume for the same stands at 32,320 kilolitres of ethanol. The nature of the contract is domestic with no promoter interest or related parties involved. Further, the supply period under the allocation is set for the Ethanol Supply Year 2025–26.
Market Reaction and Trade Snapshot
As of October 31, 2025, 10:30 am, shares of Pasupati Acrylon Ltd were trading at ₹55.73, an increase of 5.27% or 2.79 points. The shares opened in green at ₹59.50, just ₹0.21 or 0.35% below their current 52-week high. The company have had a decent trading session so far with total traded volume and Traded Value standing at 3.84 Lakhs and ₹2.17 crore respectively, while the total market cap stood at ₹490.95 crore. Riding on positive investor sentiments, the stock was on the top gainers list for the day.
Pasupati Acrylon Ltd operates in the petrochemicals sector, manufacturing acrylic fibre, tow, and tops. The company was incorporated in 1982 with its plant located at Thakurdwara, Moradabad (U.P.) and has been listed since October 2021, on NSE and BSE under the tickers PASUPTAC and 500456. Its foray into ethanol supply aligns with India’s clean energy push and strengthens its diversification strategy within the broader energy transition framework.
