Mumbai, November 18, 2025 – PhysicsWallah Limited (NSE: PWL | BSE: 544609) made a strong market debut today. The PhysisWallah share price at the time of listing on NSE was ₹145 per share. This marks a sharp 33% premium over its issue price of ₹109. Physicswallah IPO listing was followed by strong demand across categories. This particularly includes institutional investors.

PhysicsWallah Market Snapshot

Shares of Physicswallah Limited were trading at ₹149.90 as of November 18, 2025, 11:51 am. This is a 37.50 % or ₹40.88 rise from its issue price of ₹109 and a 3.38% or ₹4.90 rise from its opening price of ₹145.00. 

The intraday PhysisWallah share price range so far is between ₹137.35 and ₹161.99. The company has had a positive trading session so far. The PhysicsWallah share price performance has pushed its total market capitalisation to t ₹42,878.23 crore. Further, it had total traded value and volume of ₹2,427.06 crore and 1,631.75 lakh shares, respectively.

PhysicsWallah Anchor Allocation

Prior to opening the IPO for public, PhysicsWallah made an anchor allocation. In the allocation, the company raised about ₹1,562.85 crore. Anchor investors were allotted 14,33,80,733 shares. The PhysisWallah share price for the allotment was set at ₹109 per share. A total of 14 domestic mutual funds participated in the allocation. They took part in the anchor book through 35 schemes. Some of the major participants included Smallcap World Fund, ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund (multiple schemes), Kotak Mahindra Mutual Fund, and Nippon India Mutual Fund.

PhysicsWallah IPO Subscription Status

The ₹3,480.71 crores IPO was subscribed by 1.92 times in total. The oversubscription was led by the employees who subscribed 3.71 times, bidding for 26,26,701 shares against the 7,07,071 shares offered. The second in line was QIB (Ex Anchor) with 2.86 times subscription, closely followed by retail investors who bid 1.14 times. The participation from anchor investors was positive but muted at only a 100% or 1-time subscription. However, the participation form for Non-Institutional Buyers was underwhelming at only 0.51 times the subscription.

The company was initially founded in Noida, but now operates over 300 hybrid and offline centres across India.
