Mumbai, July 29: The Poojaa Precision Engg. IPO witnessed robust investor interest on the second day of bidding, with the public issue subscribed 15.70 times by 10:34 AM on July 29. Strong participation from retail and non-institutional investors helped the ₹159.83 crore BSE SME IPO record a sharp jump in demand, while qualified institutional buyers are yet to make significant bids.
The book-built issue opened for subscription on July 28 and will remain open until July 30. With one more trading session left, investors will now be watching whether institutional demand picks up on the final day.

According to the latest exchange data, retail investors continue to dominate the subscription, closely followed by HNI investors.

Retail and HNI Investors Keep Momentum Strong
Retail demand strengthened considerably after a solid opening day. The retail portion rose from 12.91 times on Day 1 to 22.55 times on Day 2 morning, reflecting sustained participation from individual investors.
The NII category also saw a sharp increase, climbing from 9.91 times on the first day to 21.25 times. Within the segment, sNII applications reached 21.59 times, while bNII stood at 21.09 times.
Institutional participation, excluding anchor investors, remained limited at 0.18 times, while the employee quota was subscribed 0.46 times.
IPO Details
Poojaa Precision Engg. is raising ₹159.83 crore through an entirely fresh issue of 53.10 lakh equity shares.
The IPO is priced in the ₹285 to ₹301 per share band. Retail investors are required to apply for a minimum of 800 shares, translating to an investment of ₹2,40,800 at the upper price band. The minimum application size for sHNIs is 1,200 shares, requiring an investment of ₹3,61,200.
Of the net issue, 49.98% is reserved for QIBs, 35.01% for retail investors and 15.02% for NIIs. The company has already raised ₹45.14 crore from anchor investors ahead of the IPO.
