Mumbai, July 3: Several stocks hit their respective upper and lower price bands during Friday’s trading session, reflecting sharp stock-specific moves across the broader market. While buying interest pushed counters such as TICL and Aurigrow towards their upper limits, selling pressure dragged MT Educare and a few others to the lower circuit.
Upper Price Band Hitters
Buying momentum was visible in a handful of small-cap counters. TICL gained 2.88% to ₹13.56, while Aurigrow rose 3.70% to ₹0.28. FEL also traded higher, adding 2.56% to ₹0.40, and Setu Infra advanced 2.17% to ₹0.47.
| Stock | LTP (₹) | Change (%) | Price Band |
| TICL | 13.56 | +2.88 | 5% |
| Aurigrow | 0.28 | +3.70 | 5% |
| Future Enterprise Ltd | 0.40 | +2.56 | 2% |
| Setubandhan Infra | 0.47 | +2.17 | 5% |
Lower Price Band Hitters
On the downside, MT Educare fell 4.98% to ₹2.10, nearing its lower price band. Feldvr declined 4.63%, while VISL dropped 3.40%. Sab Events and Compinfo also traded lower during the session.
| Stock | LTP (₹) | Change (%) | Price Band |
| MT Educare | 2.10 | -4.98 | 5% |
| Feldvr | 2.47 | -4.63 | 5% |
| Vedanta Iron & Steel | 41.20 | -3.40 | 5% |
| Sab Events | 8.11 | -2.76 | 5% |
| Compinfo | 1.19 | -2.46 | 5% |
Why Price Band Hitters Matter
Price bands, also known as circuit limits, are set by stock exchanges to curb excessive volatility by restricting the extent to which a stock’s price can move during a trading session. Stocks approaching or hitting these limits often witness heightened trading activity, driven by concentrated buying or selling interest.
Conclusion
As of July 3, 2026, buying interest remained concentrated in TICL, Aurigrow, FEL and Setu Infra, while MT Educare, Feldvr and VISL faced sustained selling pressure. Investors typically monitor price band hitters closely, as these stocks can remain in focus in subsequent sessions depending on liquidity, order flow and company-specific developments.
