New Delhi, September 23, 2025 – Purple Style Labs, the parent of luxury fashion portal Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop, has filed preliminary papers with the market regulator for an initial public offering (IPO) of ₹660 crore. The step is a major milestone in the company’s plans to increase its international reach in the high-end fashion business.
IPO Structure and Pre-Placement
The issue for consideration will be a fresh equity issue without any offer-for-sale element. The Mumbai fashion house is also considering a pre-IPO placement of ₹130 crore. In case this placement happens, the size of the IPO will be lower.
Utilisation of Proceeds
The proceeds will be utilised to drive its expansion plans and enhance its financial architecture, the DRHP says. Up to ₹363.3 crore will be pumped into its wholly owned subsidiary, PSL Retail, to discharge experience centre and back-office office lease obligations in India. Another ₹128 crore has been kept aside for promoting sales and marketing efforts, while the rest will go towards general corporate needs.
Business Snapshot
Purple Style Labs has emerged as a top luxury fashion player, operating a portfolio of more than 2.12 lakh SKUs in various categories such as women’s wear, men’s wear, fine jewellery, fashion jewellery, kidswear, and accessories. The platform showcases collections from over 1,312 active designer brands, one of the largest designer marketplaces curated in India.
The firm has demonstrated steady improvement across its operating and financial statistics. Its average order value improved from ₹39,499 in FY23 to ₹56,106 in FY25. Sales and marketing expenses have reduced substantially, from 12.88 percent of revenue in FY23 to 6.77 percent in FY25, reflecting enhanced efficiency. At the same time, average gross merchandise value (GMV) per customer increased from ₹59,023 to ₹83,270 over the same interval.
Global Presence
The high-end fashion brand has spread its wings to other countries, with customers from over 100 nations. Its most robust markets are the United States, the UK, and the Middle East. It also has a flagship experience center in the UK, an action that has enhanced its global exposure and top-of-mind recall.
Lead Managers
Axis Capital and IIFL Capital Services will be the book-running lead managers for the issue and navigate the company through its listing process.
Outlook
Market analysts say that Purple Style Labs comes into the capital markets when demand for luxury fashion is increasing expeditiously around the globe. Its capacity to expand globally, along with its consolidated brand franchise and enhanced financial prudence, makes it an attractive bet for investors. If the IPO succeeds, it could give the financial oomph it needs to speed up its global expansion plan and consolidate its position as a player in high-end retailing.
