New Delhi, October 23: RailTel Corporation of India Limited’s share price witnessed negative investor demand today, despite announcing it plans to consider Q2FY26 results and interim dividend. At the market close, the shares ended 0.18%, or 0.65 points higher, to close at ₹369.90. The shares made an intraday high of ₹373.40 and an intraday low of ₹368.50. The traded volume stood at 4.78 lakh shares, with the company’s market cap at ₹11,892 crore. The shares have their 52-week high at ₹478.95 and their 52-week low at ₹265.50.

RailTel Corporation of India Limited is a “Miniratna” Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) under the Ministry of Railways. The company provides telecom infrastructure services. It was established in 2000 and is headquartered in New Delhi. The shares of the company are listed on NSE with the ticker symbol RAILTEL and on BSE with the code 543265.

Company Announces Plans to Consider Q2 FY26 Results and Interim Dividend

The board of RailTel will meet on October 29 to consider and approve its September quarter results and to declare an interim dividend for the current financial year. The company has set the record date for dividend payout as November 4. The company also announced that the trading window for insiders will open 48 hours after the announcement of the financial results, and has been closed since October 1.

Strong Financial Results

In the first quarter of FY 2026, the company’s consolidated net profit increased by 36% compared to the same period last year, reaching ₹66 crore. Its revenue from operations rose by 33% year-on-year to ₹744 crore (up from ₹558 crore). Telecom services contributed ₹335 crore to the company’s revenue, while the project work services segment saw good growth, with its revenue increasing by 78% year-on-year to ₹409 crore.
