New Delhi: Raymond Realty Ltd on Monday reported 98 per cent jump in its sales bookings to Rs 902 crore for the second quarter of this fiscal on better demand for its housing projects.
Its sales bookings stood at Rs 455 crore in the year-ago period.
In a regulatory filing, the company released provisional operational numbers for the July-September quarter.
“Pre-sales rose 98 per cent YoY (year-on-year) to Rs 902 crore and collections rose 67 per cent YoY to Rs 682 crore,” Raymond Realty said.
During the first half of this fiscal, the sales bookings or pre-sales doubled to Rs 1,602 crore from Rs 760 crore in the year-ago period.
Harmohan Sahni, Managing Director & CEO of Raymond Realty, said: “We nearly doubled pre-sales during the second quarter without any new launches, supported by resilient sustenance sales and continued homebuyer confidence in our projects. Simultaneously, the 67 per cent year-on-year growth in collections highlights our focus on cash flow efficiency.”
