New Delhi, November 17, 2025 – Some of the most prominent listed companies in India have recovered on a very strong basis last week. This adds to a total of Rs 2,05,185.08 crore in total market capitalisation. This value addition rebounds the benchmark index from its recent weakness. Eight of the top 10 most valued companies have ended the week on a very strong note. Bharti Airtel and Reliance Industries are some of the leading companies in the gains.

The company’s broader market has also strengthened for this reason. On Friday, Sensex closed with a 1,346-point surge, representing a 1.62% increase, and Nifty moved up 417.75 points, or a 1.64% surge, which helped the market finish the week on a firm and positive note.

Bharti Airtel and Reliance Industries Power Weekly Surge

Bharti Airtel leads the gainers list, posting a very strong rise. Bharti Airtel added Rs 55,652.54 crore to its valuation, which increased the company’s total market capitalisation value to Rs 11,96,700.84 crore. Secondly, Reliance Industries added Rs 54,941.84 crore, further increasing its market capitalisation value to Rs 20,55,379.61 crore.

TCS, ICICI Bank, SBI, Infosys, and HDFC Bank Extend Gains

Some of the most prominent players from the technology sector and banking sector have also contributed to the week’s positive momentum.

Tata Consultancy Services further added Rs 40,757.75 crore, totalling its market capitalisation to Rs 11,23,416 crore. ICICI Bank further added Rs 20,834.35 crore, totalling to Rs 9,80,374.43 crore. State Bank of India added Rs 10,522.9 crore, totalling its market capitalisation value at Rs 8,92,923.79 crore. Infosys further added Rs 10,448 crore, bringing its market capitalisation to Rs 6,24,198.80 crore. HDFC Bank added Rs 9,149.13 crore. This totals the bank’s market capitalisation to Rs 15,20,524.34 crore. Hindustan Unilever added Rs 2,978.25 crore. This recorded the company’s market capitalisation at Rs 5,70,187.06 crore.

Bajaj Finance and LIC Face Valuation Pressure

On the other hand, Bajaj Finance dragged down Rs 30,147.94 crore, pulling its market capitalisation value to Rs 6,33,573.38 crore on Friday. The Life Insurance Corporation of India was dragged down by Rs 9,266.12 crore, and its market capitalisation now stands at Rs 5,75,100.42 crore.

Current Ranking of India’s Most Valued Companies

Following the additions in the market capitalisation, as of today, the country’s top companies in terms of market value are as follows: Reliance Industries, HDFC Bank, Bharti Airtel, Tata Consultancy Services, ICICI Bank, State Bank of India, Bajaj Finance, Infosys, Life Insurance Corporation of India, and Hindustan Unilever.
