Reliance Jio started its operations in 2016 and has since amassed an immense customer base of 500 million. The significant subscriber base is larger than the combined populations of countries such as the UK, France, and the US. The company is also known to have rolled out the world’s fastest 5G and plays a vital role in India’s UPI spectrum and other digital payments.

Mukesh Ambani Outlines Jio’s Strategic Expansion into Smart Homes and AI Solutions

Mukesh Ambani highlighted the future roadmap for the company. Jio wants to connect every Indian household with mobile and broadband services and wants to expand into smart home solutions. It also wants to drive enterprise digitisation and small business growth. It is currently leading an “AI Everywhere for Everyone” initiative and wants to expand its operations globally.

Reliance Jio Reports ₹1.28 Lakh Crore Revenue and ₹64,170 Crore EBITDA in FY25

In the financial year 2025, Reliance Jio recorded a robust revenue of ₹1.28 lakh crore, accompanied by an impressive EBITDA of ₹64,170 crore, highlighting the company’s strong operational efficiency and continued market dominance in the telecom sector.

The upcoming IPO will give global investors direct access to India’s largest telecom operator and anchor Reliance’s long-term focus on digital, consumer, and AI-driven businesses.
