Riyaasat Lifestyle IPO Subscription On Final Day: Issue Remains Underbooked At 0.10x As Bidding Closes Today

Mumbai, June 22: The subscription window for the Riyaasat Lifestyle IPO is set to close today, putting the spotlight on whether the SME public issue can attract meaningful demand in its final few hours. After a slow start and muted participation through the first two days of bidding, investors are closely tracking whether the issue can witness the kind of late surge often seen in SME IPOs.
The ₹30.77 crore IPO opened for subscription on June 18 and will close at the end of trading on June 22. While qualified institutional investors have shown interest in the issue, participation from retail and high-net-worth investors has remained largely absent so far, keeping overall subscription levels subdued heading into the final day.
A Quiet IPO Heads intothe Final Stretch
For most IPOs, especially those in the SME segment, the final day is where the real action begins. Investors often wait until the last moment to assess demand trends before submitting applications.
That pattern could become crucial for Riyaasat Lifestyle.
As of the latest available data on Day 3, the issue was subscribed just 0.10 times overall, indicating that the IPO still has a long way to go before achieving full subscription.
While the numbers may appear weak on the surface, market participants know that SME issues can witness dramatic swings in demand during the final trading session.
Institutional Investors Have Done the Heavy Lifting
One bright spot for the issue has been the response from institutional investors.
The Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIB) portion was subscribed 1.01 times, making it the only category to cross the fully subscribed mark. This suggests that a section of professional investors has found merit in the offering despite the lack of broader participation.
However, institutional demand alone has not been enough to push overall subscription numbers significantly higher.
Latest Subscription Status
| Category | Subscription |
| QIB | 1.01x |
| Retail Investors | 0.07x |
| NII | 0.01x |
| bNII | 0.00x |
| sNII | 0.04x |
| Overall | 0.10x |
The data highlights a clear divide between institutional participation and interest from individual investors.
Retail Investors Remain onthe Sidelines
Retail investors have so far shown very limited enthusiasm for the issue.
Despite receiving the largest share allocation in the IPO structure, the retail category was subscribed only 0.07 times as of the latest update. In practical terms, that means a large portion of shares reserved for retail investors remains unbid heading into the final day.
For many market observers, today’s retail participation will be the key factor that determines how the issue finishes.
A strong retail response during the final hours could significantly alter the subscription picture, while continued caution could keep overall demand muted.
HNI Investors Yet to Show Conviction
The non-institutional investor category, commonly tracked for signs of aggressive bidding from wealthy investors, has also remained largely inactive.
The broader NII segment was subscribed only 0.01 times, with virtually no participation from the bNII category. Even the sNII segment recorded only marginal bidding activity.
This absence of HNI demand has been one of the defining features of the IPO so far and remains a major reason behind the low overall subscription figure.

By the closing bell today, the market will have its answer.
