SBI Funds Management IPO was subscribed 11.56 times by 1:54:43 PM on the final day of bidding, with QIB demand jumping to 22.79 times and NII investors bidding 19.32 times.

Mumbai, July 16: Demand for the SBI Funds Management IPO strengthened sharply during the final trading session, with institutional investors stepping up their bids. By 1:54:43 PM on July 16, the ₹9,812.91 crore public issue had been subscribed 11.56 times, according to exchange data.
Qualified institutional buyers, excluding anchor investors, emerged as the strongest segment. Their portion was subscribed 22.79 times, while the NII quota attracted bids worth 19.32 times the shares on offer. The Retail category was subscribed 3.08 times.
The IPO, which opened on July 14, closes later today. It is entirely an offer for sale of 17,09,56,631 equity shares, with a price band of ₹545-₹574 per share.

Brief Overview of the IPO
The public issue is valued at ₹9,812.91 crore and consists entirely of an offer for sale, meaning no fresh equity shares are being issued. Existing shareholders are divesting 17.09 crore shares, while the company’s share capital remains unchanged after listing.
The IPO has been priced in the ₹545-₹574 band. Investors can bid in lots of 26 shares, requiring ₹14,924 for one retail application at the upper price band.
Kotak Mahindra Capital Co. Ltd. is managing the issue, while KFin Technologies Ltd. is the registrar. Shares are scheduled to debut on BSE and NSE on July 21, 2026, subject to completion of the allotment process.
