SBI Funds Management IPO witnessed a sharp surge in institutional demand on the final day, with the issue subscribed 41.64 times by 3:54:48 PM.

Mumbai, July 16:SBI Funds Management IPO drew a late rush of bids on the final day of subscription, led by institutional investors. As of 3:54:48 PM on July 16, the ₹9,812.91 crore public issue had been subscribed 41.64 times, reflecting a sharp jump from the afternoon update.
The biggest move came from qualified institutional buyers, excluding anchor investors. Their portion was subscribed 140.10 times, while the NII quota stood at 22.45 times. The Retail segment was subscribed 3.61 times at the same time.
The bookbuilt issue, which opened for bidding on July 14, closes today. It comprises an offer for sale of 17,09,56,631 equity shares in the price band of ₹545 to ₹574 per share.

Brief Overview of the IPO
The public issue is valued at ₹9,812.91 crore and consists entirely of an offer for sale, meaning no fresh equity shares are being issued. Existing shareholders are divesting 17.09 crore shares, while the company’s share capital remains unchanged after listing.
The IPO has been priced in the ₹545-₹574 band. Investors can bid in lots of 26 shares, requiring ₹14,924 for one retail application at the upper price band.
Kotak Mahindra Capital Co. Ltd. is managing the issue, while KFin Technologies Ltd. is the registrar. Shares are scheduled to debut on BSE and NSE on July 21, 2026, subject to completion of the allotment process.
