New Delhi, November 20, 2025: The share price of Servotech Renewable Power System Limited surged over 2% in Thursday morning’s trade, following the award of a ₹73.70 crore rooftop solar project in Andhra Pradesh. As of 11:44 AM IST, the stock was trading at ₹98.75, reflecting strong investor interest. The share opened at ₹97.10 and reached an intraday high of ₹99.95. The upward trend underscores market optimism that the project, part of India’s expanding renewable energy initiatives, could drive robust growth for Servotech as residential solar adoption continues to rise across the country.
Servotech Renewable Power System Limited, listed on the stock exchange since 2021, provides solar EPC services, EV charging infrastructure, and power electronics manufacturing. Over the years, it has built a strong project base across both government and commercial sectors. With India’s clean energy sector gaining momentum, large orders like the recent rooftop solar project are strengthening Servotech’s market position and supporting its growth trajectory in the renewable energy space.
Why the Stock Moved
Servotech’s share price experienced a sharp increase after it disclosed the receipt of a large rooftop solar installation order from the New & Renewable Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Ltd. The order will entail the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of grid-connected rooftop solar plants in the Kavali division to be completed in six months, effectively displaying the company’s operational capability as well as its readiness and ability to deliver large-scale renewable solutions in an effective and timely manner. Such orders increase revenue visibility and Servotech’s credentials as a preferred EPC partner in government-backed solar programs.
Project Significance
The solar roof project is one of the major elements of the PM Surya Ghar program, the implementation of which is to promote the adoption of residential solar in all states. The order will help Servotech cement its role within the renewable energy system in Andhra Pradesh, as well as enhance the deployment of decentralized clean energy infrastructure with the aim of reaching a national goal. Generally, it is believed that this project is a positive shift towards distributed solar generation with long-term prospects for companies with technical expertise and experience in executing the projects.
