Mumbai, September 23: Skipper has secured fresh domestic and international orders worth ₹797 crore for power transmission and distribution projects, including transmission tower and monopole supplies in Australia and a 765 kV transmission line project in India.

According to the company’s exchange disclosure, the new orders cover several domestic and international Power T&D projects. The company said the contracts strengthen its presence in high-voltage transmission infrastructure and add to its order portfolio across key markets.

The international business includes export orders for the supply of transmission towers and monopoles for Power T&D projects in Australia. Skipper has also secured a domestic 765 kV transmission line project from a reputed domestic developer.

The company did not disclose individual values for the domestic and international contracts in the press release, but placed the combined value of the new orders at ₹797 crore.

Australia And India Projects Expand Transmission Order Book

The Australian orders involve the supply of transmission towers and monopoles for power transmission and distribution projects. Skipper said international markets such as Australia are seeing growing traction for its high-voltage transmission infrastructure capabilities.

The domestic contract involves a 765 kV transmission line project, placing the order within the higher-voltage segment of India’s power transmission infrastructure. The company said the latest wins add technically complex projects to its portfolio.

Sharan Bansal, Director of Skipper Limited, said the new orders strengthen the company’s presence in domestic and international power transmission markets and support its focus on technically demanding T&D projects.

Skipper Expands Global Power Transmission Presence

Skipper, established in 1981, operates across the Power Transmission & Distribution and polymer segments. The company has more than four decades of experience and has manufacturing capabilities in India and international markets.

Its Power T&D portfolio includes transmission towers, EPC, monopoles, poles and railway electrification structures. The company said its international footprint extends across more than 65 countries, including markets in Latin America, Europe, Africa and other regions.

Skipper also operates in the polymer pipe and fittings business under the Skipper brand, serving agricultural and plumbing applications.
