Somi Conveyor Beltings Shares Price Rise 2.4% After Securing ₹3.04 Crore Order from SAIL

Mumbai, November 12, 2025: Shares of Somi Conveyor Beltings Ltd. gained 2.4% in Tuesday’s trade after the company announced that it had secured a ₹3.04 crore domestic supply order from Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL)
Under the contract, Somi Conveyor Beltings will deliver 14,800 metres of conveyor belts. The conveyor belts will be manufactured in the grades HR-120 and M24. This deliverable is curated for the SAIL’s Durgapur Steel Plant. The order is scheduled to be completed by February 3, 2026. The company clarified that the order is a purely commercial transaction, with no promoter interest or related-party involvement.
What Does the Management Say?
Somi Conveyor Beltings’ Whole-time Director, Vimal Bhansali, said that it has secured this domestic under the SEBI’s disclosure requirements. And the company aims to supply the order on time.

Somi Conveyor Beltings shares closed with a 2.41% gain. Over the past year, the share price of Somi Conveyor Beltings has declined 5.72%, while year-to-date it is down 23%. In the last month, it rose 7.16%, though it has slipped 2.13% over the past five days. The company’s market capitalisation stands at ₹182.58 crore. Based in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, Somi Conveyor Beltings Ltd specialises in manufacturing and exporting fabric, steel cords, and buckets.
