Gurugram, October 27: SRF Ltd announced that it has reported strong profit for the quarter ending September 30, 2025. The company reported a surge of 92.6% YoY in its consolidated net profit to ₹388.18 crore in Q2FY26, compared with ₹201.42 crore in the same period last year. However, on a sequential basis, profit declined 10.2% from ₹432.32 crore in Q1FY26 due to forex losses and marginally lower sales volumes.

SRF Ltd is an Indian company that is engaged in diversified business activities related to chemicals, packaging films, technical textiles, etc. The company was established in 1970, and is headquartered in Gurugram, Haryana. The shares of the company are listed on NSE with the ticker symbol SRF and on BSE with the code 503806.

Net Profit Jumps 92.6% YoY to ₹388.18 Crore But Overall Performance Mixed

SRF Limited reported a mixed performance in Q2 FY26. The company’s total income rose 6.0% year-on-year to ₹3,665.90 crore from ₹3,457.63 crore in Q2 FY25. Revenue from operations increased 5.7% to ₹3,640.19 crore. However, on a sequential basis, both revenue and income declined 4.7% from the previous quarter. Total expenses stood at ₹3,148.85 crore, down 3.8% quarter-on-quarter. Profit before tax fell 10.2% to ₹517.05 crore compared to ₹575.82 crore in Q1 FY26. However, it was up 82.3% from ₹283.66 crore last year. Net profit after tax declined 10.2% sequentially to ₹388.18 crore but nearly doubled year-on-year from ₹201.42 crore.

Earnings per share stood at ₹13.10, down 10.2% from the previous quarter but up 92.8% from a year ago. The cost of materials consumed rose by 2.1% year-on-year to ₹1,925.09 crore, while power and fuel costs increased to ₹342.06 crore. Depreciation and amortisation expenses jumped to ₹212.13 crore from ₹193.93 crore. However, there were forex losses of ₹30.63 crore in Q2 FY26, compared to a gain of ₹22.59 crore in the same quarter last year.

For the half year ended September 2025, SRF reported total income of ₹7,513.64 crore, up 8.2% year-on-year from ₹6,947.01 crore. Net profit surged 80.9% to ₹820.50 crore compared to ₹453.64 crore in the corresponding period last year.

Shares Move to Fall By 2.18%

At the market close, SRF Ltd share price ended lower by 2.18%, or 67.10 points, at ₹3,014.90. The shares made an intraday high of ₹3,103.60 and an intraday low of ₹2,985.10. The traded volume stood at 13.54 lakh shares, with the company’s market cap at ₹91,358 crore. The shares have their 52-week high at ₹3,325 and their 52-week low at ₹2,126.85.
