Chennai, November 3, 2025 – The shares of S&S Power Switchgears Ltd (NSE: S&SPOWER, BSE: 517273) gained upward momentum today. At 02:05 PM, the share price of S&S Power Switchgears Ltd is trading 0.63% higher than its last close at ₹349.90. The share price surged immediately after the company announced that it had won an international contract through its wholly owned subsidiary, Hamilton Research and Technology Private Limited.

The share opened at ₹351.65 and traded between ₹350.00 and ₹368.00 so far in this session. The company’s market cap is ₹445.28 crore, while the VWAP is 361.56. The share moved sideways throughout the afternoon session and closed at ₹351.20 (0.37% higher than the previous close).

Key Development

The subsidiary company, HART, has received a letter of intent with Giza Systems Free Zone in Egypt. It will supply a state-of-the-art Pot Control System and related technology for aluminum smelter operations. The contract is worth more than ₹30 crore, making it one of HART’s biggest international wins to date. The company intends to begin the project this financial year and complete it in about 36 months.

Management Commentary

In submitting the order report, the Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of the company, CS Prince Thomas, stated that the order will significantly strengthen HART’s position internationally. Also, it will strengthen S&S Power’s position as a major supplier in the global electrical equipment market.

Founded in 1962, S&S Power Switchgears Limited has its headquarters in Chennai. The company manufactures its own high-voltage electrical switchgear and components. The company is not limited to India, and serves its customers worldwide through its subsidiaries, Acrastyle Limited in the UK and Hamilton Research and Technology. The company is listed on both the NSE and the BSE, with a market cap of 445 crore.
