Mumbai, September 17: The SS Retail IPO saw considerably more bidding on the second day of the issue, taking the overall subscription to 6.08 times by the end of the reported session. The ₹500 crore IPO comprises a fresh issue of ₹360 crore and an offer for sale of ₹140 crore. The issue opened for subscription on September 16 and will close on September 18, 2026. The price band has been fixed at ₹403 to ₹424 per share. The SS Retail IPO was subscribed 6.08 times overall by 4:58:20 PM on September 17, 2026, based on the shares offered across investor categories. The NII category recorded a subscription of 10.41 times, making it the most subscribed among the main investor categories. Retail investors bid for 7.95 times the shares reserved for them, while the QIB portion, excluding the anchor allocation, stood at 0.24 times.

Bidding in the NII segment gathered pace on Day 2. The small NII category, for applications below ₹10 lakh, was subscribed 14.04 times, while the big NII category, for applications above ₹10 lakh, saw subscription of 8.60 times.
The Retail portion was subscribed 7.95 times. The QIB segment, excluding the anchor portion, recorded subscription of 0.24 times by the reported time.

Brief Overview Of The IPO
SS Retail is looking to raise ₹500 crore through its IPO. The issue consists of a fresh issue of 85.08 lakh shares worth ₹360 crore and an offer for sale of 33.02 lakh shares worth ₹140 crore.
The price band has been set at ₹403 to ₹424 per share. The lot size is 35 shares, making ₹14,840 the minimum investment for a retail investor applying at the upper end of the price band.
The issue also carries a reservation of up to 3,00,752 shares for employees. Eligible employees are being offered a discount of ₹25 per share to the issue price.
Anand Rathi Advisors Ltd. is the book running lead manager for the issue, while KFin Technologies Ltd. is the registrar. The shares are proposed to be listed on the BSE and NSE. The IPO will remain open until September 18 2026, with the tentative listing scheduled for September 23 2026.
