Stock exchanges National Stock Exchange and BSE will remain operational during Ugadi and Gudi Padwa in March 2026, as these occasions are not included in the official trading holiday calendar.

The exchange schedule indicates that while March includes a few notified holidays, regional New Year festivals such as Ugadi and Gudi Padwa do not fall under trading closures this year.

Mumbai, March 18: The market will remain open on Thursday, March 19 for trading on the occasion of Ugadi and Gudi Padwa. These festivals are not listed as trading holidays by the exchanges, and normal market operations will continue.

There is no trading disruption on account of Ugadi or Gudi Padwa on March 19, 2026. Exchanges will remain open, with only notified holidays impacting market activity during the month.
