New Delhi, Oct 27: Here are five stocks in focus on Tuesday, from Nazara Technologies’ swing to profit to Highway Infrastructure’s ₹91.78 crore NHAI order to Paytm’s 11-fold profit jump to Tata Consumer Products’ 17.6% profit rise to Sigma Advanced Systems’ ₹973 crore NATO order. Here’s what’s driving each stock and what to track through the session.

Nazara Technologies (NAZARA)

Nazara Technologies reported a consolidated profit of ₹35.36 crore in Q2, against a loss of ₹33.9 crore a year earlier. Revenue jumped 52.6% to ₹803.2 crore from ₹526.5 crore.

Gaming revenue more than doubled to ₹656 crore, or 82% of the total, and EBITDA rose 93% to ₹120 crore. The newly acquired Bluetile and BestPlay businesses added ₹329 crore of revenue and ₹64 crore of EBITDA in just two months, while non-gaming businesses contributed ₹147 crore of revenue.

The profit follows a loss of ₹82.5 crore in the June quarter, and the company is still at a loss of ₹47.1 crore for the first half. Investors will track whether the acquisitions can sustain profitability in the coming quarters.

Highway Infrastructure (HILINFRA)

Highway Infrastructure received a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) worth approximately ₹91.78 crore from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). The company said the domestic order is an arm’s-length transaction.

The one-year contract covers toll collection and maintenance of toilet facilities at the Baiti Kala Fee Plaza on the Sultanpur-Varanasi section of NH-56 in Uttar Pradesh. The order follows a ₹340.08 crore LOA for the Palayam Fee Plaza in Tamil Nadu, issued on October 23.

The two orders add to the company’s toll operations portfolio and give it near-term revenue visibility. Investors will look for the timeline for starting operations at both plazas. Investors will also look for any further order wins in the session.

One 97 Communications (PAYTM)

One 97 Communications, the parent of Paytm, reported a nearly 11-fold jump in consolidated profit to ₹226 crore in Q2, compared with ₹21 crore a year earlier. Revenue grew 28.5% to ₹2,648 crore from ₹2,061 crore, and profit before tax was ₹292 crore against ₹30 crore.

Profit rose about 3% from the previous quarter, a slower sequential pace of growth. The company expects a 2.5 basis point uplift in payment processing margin from NPCI’s new circulars and plans to invest ₹500 crore in Paytm Cloud Technologies.

Investors will also track payment margins after the NPCI changes and how the Paytm Cloud investment shapes the company’s expansion plans.

Tata Consumer Products (TATACONSUM)

Tata Consumer Products reported a 17.6% year-on-year increase in net profit to ₹467 crore for Q2 FY27, up from ₹397 crore a year earlier. Revenue rose 14% to ₹5,661 crore, ahead of Zee Business’s estimate of ₹5,605 crore, while EBITDA grew 16.5% to ₹783 crore.

Underlying volume growth in the India branded business was 11%, and growth businesses rose 40%, led by Tata Sampann up 57% and ready-to-drink beverages up 47%. Management reiterated its FY27 guidance of 50-70 basis points of EBITDA margin expansion.

The stock closed at ₹936.50 on Monday, down 2.84%. Management has also set a long-term target of 17-20% EBITDA margins for the India business. Investors will watch whether India volume momentum holds.

Sigma Advanced Systems (SIGMAADV)

Sigma Advanced Systems has secured an order worth ₹973 crore from a NATO customer for the manufacture and supply of Base Bleed (BB) units for 155 mm artillery ammunition. The order is scheduled to be executed over a period of 12 months.

The order is valued at about $102.23 million and builds on the company’s existing capabilities in 155 mm artillery shells and fuzes. Base bleed units reduce aerodynamic drag in flight, which increases the range of conventional artillery.

The company has also been expanding abroad through its UK subsidiary Bromford Precision Solutions, which secured a ₹1,600 crore Rolls-Royce deal in August. Investors will track execution of the order and whether it adds to the company’s export order book.
