November 17, 2025 – Thyrocare Technologies Ltd (NSE: THYROCARE, BSE: 539871) said its board had fixed 28 November 2025, as the record date for issuance of bonus shares under which every equity shareholder will get two bonus shares for every one share held. The face value of each bonus share is ₹ 10 each and as per the plan, the issue of shares is expected to commence on December 1 while trading in the bonus issue will start from December 2. Those wanting to trade in the stock market have to be shareholders on the 27th of November or before to be eligible.
Reason and Market Effect
The current share bonus, approved by the shareholders of the company, has no consequence on the market capitalisation of the company. Still, it is expected to enhance the liquidity of the company and make the stock more affordable for retail investors. As the number of shares increases, Thyrocare is banking on the increased market participation and a rise in trading volume.
Performance of the Stock Market
Thyrocare share was trading in losses and fell 1.39% to ₹1,542.20 at 12:28 pm IST in the stock market. This is showing that the investors seem a little unsure regarding the bonus issue decision.
Thyrocare Technologies Ltd. is an Indian diagnostic and preventive healthcare provider, nationally-established labs, and collection centres network-enabled. It has a wide-ranging portfolio catering to pathology tests, wellness packages, and preventive diagnostics for individual, hospital, and corporate clients.
