New Delhi: Leading watch and jewellery maker Titan Company Ltd on Thursday said it has fully redeemed commercial papers worth Rs 1,000 crore, with maturity proceeds paid to all holders.

The redemption pertains to commercial papers issued on June 12, 2026, Titan said in a regulatory filing.

‘We wish to inform you that the company has fully redeemed the Commercial Papers (CPs) of Rs 1,000 crore… The maturity proceeds of the CPs have been duly paid to all the holders today,” said Titan.

Commercial papers are short-term, unsecured money market instruments typically issued by companies to meet working capital requirements, with tenures ranging from seven days to one year.

Titan Company, a JV between Tata Sons and the Tamil Nadu government-promoted Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporations, is one of India’s leading players in the watches, jewellery and eyewear segments, with brands such as Tanishq, Titan, Fastrack and CaratLane under its fold.

The company periodically taps the commercial paper route as part of its short-term borrowing programme to manage liquidity, alongside other debt instruments.
