Bajaj Finance Ltd emerged as the top gainer at 3:30 PM IST on September 23, 2026, rising 3.41% to ₹1,043.20. Hindalco Industries Ltd and Tata Steel Ltd followed with gains of 3.17% and 3.16%, respectively. On the losing side, HCL Technologies Ltd declined 1.08%, followed by Titan Company Ltd and Infosys Ltd.

Mumbai, September 23: Indian equities remained higher during the afternoon session on September 23, 2026, with metal and financial stocks among the notable gainers. Bajaj Finance Ltd led the gainers at 3:30 PM IST with a 3.41% rise, while Hindalco Industries Ltd and Tata Steel Ltd gained more than 3% each. On the other side, HCL Technologies Ltd recorded the sharpest decline among the stocks in the losers list, falling 1.08%. The broader market was also trading higher, with the Nifty 50 and Sensex in positive territory during the afternoon session.
