Mumbai, October 27: Shares of Ola Electric Mobility, PC Jeweller, Vodafone Idea and YES Bank featured as the most traded stocks by volume on Tuesday, October 27, as investors tracked corporate developments ranging from fundraising plans and earnings growth to debt reduction and regulatory uncertainty. Ola Electric surged 11.06% as it seeks to raise Rs 1,000 crore through a rights issue, while PC Jeweller gained 2.18% after reporting strong September-quarter profit growth and declaring itself debt-free following a one-time settlement with lender banks. Vodafone Idea rose 1.42% amid optimism over its turnaround prospects after a global brokerage reiterated a positive view on the stock, while YES Bank edged lower as investors assessed the implications of the Supreme Court ruling on its AT-1 bonds.

PC Jeweller Limited (up 2.18%)

PC Jeweller shares rose on Tuesday, snapping a three-session losing streak, after the company reported a 58% year-on-year jump in net profit for the September quarter last week.

The stock has climbed 81% so far in 2026, drawing investor attention to the jewellery maker’s financial turnaround and efforts to repair its balance sheet.

A key driver of the recovery has been the company’s improved debt position. PC Jeweller has declared itself debt-free after reaching a one-time settlement (OTS) with its lender banks, marking a significant milestone in its efforts to pare liabilities and strengthen its financial position.

Investors will now watch whether the company can sustain earnings growth, consolidate its balance-sheet recovery and capitalise on demand in the jewellery market.

Ola Electric Mobility Limited (up 11.06%)

Ola Electric Mobility shares surged 11% on Tuesday after remaining largely flat in the previous session, putting the electric two-wheeler maker back in focus as it looks to raise Rs 1,000 crore through a rights issue. The rally follows Japanese investor SoftBank selling a portion of its rights entitlements in the company.

SoftBank sold 28% of its rights entitlements over two trading sessions on October 22 and 23, according to exchange data.

The transaction comes at a crucial juncture for the company as it seeks fresh capital amid mounting competition and declining revenue.

Ola Electric has priced its rights issue at Rs 27 per share, seeking to raise up to Rs 1,000 crore through the issuance of around 37.03 crore partly paid-up equity shares. The offer opened on October 22 and is scheduled to close on October 30.

The issue price was set at a 26% discount to the stock’s prevailing market price when the terms were announced.

The latest fundraising effort follows Ola Electric’s Rs 780-crore qualified institutional placement in June. The company has been seeking additional capital to strengthen its balance sheet and support its business amid intensifying competition in India’s electric two-wheeler market.

Meanwhile, Motilal Oswal Financial Services and Calliope Capital Advisors, an investment vehicle associated with Motilal Oswal, applied for a combined 2.39 crore shares under the rights issue on its opening day, according to exchange disclosures.

Vodafone Idea Limited (up 1.42%)

Vodafone Idea shares rose on Tuesday after a global brokerage said the stock’s risk-reward profile had turned attractive following a recent correction. The firm has seen improving subscriber trends and network expansion. The stock had risen on Monday as well and is down 1.3% over a week and 15% over a month. It is up 4% this year and 21.6% over a year.

Yes Bank Limited (down 0.32%)

YES Bank shares edged lower on Tuesday as investors assessed the implications of the Supreme Court’s ruling on the lender’s ₹8,415-crore Additional Tier-1 (AT-1) bonds. The court’s decision to overturn the 2020 write-off has raised questions over repayment obligations and the potential financial impact on the bank. On October 24, YES Bank has said it retains the right to exercise coupon discretion on its Additional Tier-1 (AT-1) bonds. The bank had reported a 65% year-on-year rise in September-quarter net profit to ₹1,080 crore.
