Mumbai July, 23: TVS Motor Company Limited has launched its TVS Orbiter electric scooter in Nepal, widening its electric two-wheeler offering in the country as it looks to tap growing demand for urban EV mobility.
The Orbiter comes with a 3.1 kWh battery and delivers a claimed 158 km IDC range, according to the company’s exchange disclosure and accompanying press release dated July 23, 2026.
TVS has positioned the scooter around everyday urban commuting rather than outright performance. The model gets cruise control, hill-hold assist, regenerative braking and a 34-litre boot. A 14-inch front wheel, which the company describes as an industry-first feature, has been incorporated to improve stability and ride comfort.
Connectivity is another focus. The Orbiter offers a connected mobile application, turn-by-turn navigation, geo-fencing, crash and fall alerts, vehicle tracking, over-the-air updates and incoming call notifications on its colour LCD display.
The scooter also features a 845 mm long seat, 290 mm straight-line footboard and 169 mm ground clearance. It will be sold in Nepal in three colours: Neon Sunburst, Cosmic Titanium and Martian Copper.
The Nepal launch expands TVS Motor’s EV presence outside India and forms part of its broader push into international electric mobility markets.
