US equity markets saw a day in red, yesterday

US equity markets ended the day in red yesterday, 23rd September. Nasdaq ended the day, down by 215.5 points or 0.95%. S&P 500 ended the day, down by 36.83 points or 0.55%. Dow Jones ended the day, down by 88.75 points or 0.19%. Technology stocks saw some profit booking after the gains of the previous day. Nvidia’s stock ended the day, down by 2.82%.
European markets gained yesterday
European markets gained yesterday. Euro Stoxx 50 ended the day, up by 30.34 points or 0.56%. Dax ended the day, up by 84.28 points or 0.36%. FTSE 100 ended the day, down by 3.36 points or 0.036%.
Asian markets have opened the day on a mixed note
Asian equity markets have opened the day on a mixed note today. At 9 a.m. IST, 24th September, 2025, Nikkei 225 is down by 193.36 points or 0.43%. Hang Seng index is up by 216.34 points or 0.83%. Shanghai index is up by 24.08 points or 0.63%. Kospi index is down by 39.32 points or 1.13%.

Indian equity markets may see another day in red today. Sentiments regarding IT stocks may remain subdued in the aftermath of the higher H1- B visa fee. US President Donald Trump once again blamed India and China, yesterday, for funding Russia’s war against Ukraine, by continuing to buy Russian oil.
