US markets end the day again in red on concerns about overvaluation of AI stocks

US equity markets ended the day in red, yesterday. Many investors are getting increasingly worried over the high valuation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) linked companies. Palantir’s stock is now trading at 137 times its sales. Hedge Fund investor Michael Burry revealed earlier this week that he has gone short on AI related companies.

Nasdaq ended the day, yesterday, 6th November, 2025, down by 445.80 points or 1.90%. Dow Jones ended the day, down by 398.7 points or 0.84%. S&P 500 ended the day, down by 75.97 points or 1.12%. Nvidia’s share price ended the day, down by 3.65%. Palantir’s shares ended the day, down by 6.84%.

European markets also closed the day sharply in red

European markets also fell. Euro Stoxx 50 ended the day, yesterday, down by 57.95 points or 1.02%.  Dax ended the day, down by 315.72 points or 1.31%. FTSE 100 ended the day, down by 41.30 points or 0.42%. Bank of England retained interest rate at 4% in its monetary policy meeting on 6th November. But many of the members of the monetary policy committee of the UK central bank voted in favor of cutting down interest rate by 25 basis points or 0.25%.

Asian markets begin the day in red

Nikkei 225 is down sharply today. At 8:25 a.m. IST, 7th November, 2025, it is down by 1100.19 points or 2.16%. South Korean Kospi is down by 89.85 points or 2.23%. Hang Seng is down by 164.60 points or 0.62%. Shanghai Composite is down by 0.37 points or 0.0092%.

Indian equity markets may start the day in red

Indian equity markets are getting all negative cues from foreign markets today. They may start the day in red. Markets are likely to see some increase in volatility today.
