Vakrangee Shares Gain Over 5.5% After Q2 FY26 Profit Surges 413% YoY

Mumbai, October 27, 2025: The share price of Vakrangee Limited (NSE: VAKRANGEE, BSE: 511431) rose 5.59% to ₹9.26, extending last week’s upward momentum following the release of the company’s Q2 FY26 results on Friday.
Vakrangee Limited, established in 1990, is an IT-enabled services company offering financial inclusion, digital, and government-to-citizen services through its nationwide network of Vakrangee Kendras. The company is listed on both NSE and BSE under the ticker VAKRANGEE and is classified under the “IT Enabled Services” sector.
Profit Surges 413% YoY on Improved Operations
Vakrangee Limited delivered a strong performance in the quarter ended September 2025 (Q2 FY26), supported by improved operational efficiency and higher revenue. The company’s revenue from operations stood at ₹6,907.96 lakh, marking a 5.9% increase year-on-year and a marginal 0.4% rise sequentially. Its total income reached ₹7,057.88 lakh, reflecting a 6.8% growth compared to the corresponding quarter last year.
On the profitability front, Vakrangee Limited reported a strong rebound. Profit before tax (PBT) surged 246.4% year-on-year to ₹411.07 lakh, up from ₹118.71 lakh in Q2 FY25, though it declined 12% sequentially. The company’s net profit also saw a remarkable jump, rising over fourfold to ₹302.93 lakh from ₹59.08 lakh in the same quarter last year — a year-on-year increase of 413%.
The company’s earnings per share (EPS) remained steady at ₹0.03 for the quarter. Tax expenses increased to ₹108.14 lakh, up from ₹59.63 lakh in the corresponding quarter last year, in line with the rise in profitability.
Market Snapshot and Valuation
Shares of Vakrangee Limited opened at ₹9.12 and climbed to an intraday high of ₹9.64, while touching a day’s low of ₹8.90 so far. The company currently holds a market capitalisation of approximately ₹998.75 crore and trades at a price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio of 135.68.
Over the past year, Vakrangee’s stock has fluctuated sharply, moving between a 52-week high of ₹38.20 and a low of ₹7.99, highlighting its high volatility. On a performance basis, the stock has declined 64% year-on-year and 72% year-to-date, though it has shown signs of recovery, rising 12.93% in the past month and 10% over the last five sessions.
