Mumbai, September 22,: Vama Wovenfab shares made a flat debut at ₹341 per share on the BSE SME platform on Tuesday, matching the IPO issue price. The stock was subsequently trading at ₹323.95 at 10:16 AM IST, down ₹17.05, or 5%, from its listing price.

The listing followed Vama Wovenfab’s ₹49.54 crore IPO, which was entirely a fresh issue of 14.53 lakh shares. The issue received 2.53 times subscription during the three-day bidding period. 

Vama Wovenfab Lists At ₹341, Matching Issue Price 

Vama Wovenfab opened trading at ₹341 per share, the same price at which the company allotted shares to IPO investors. 

The IPO had a price band of ₹324–341 per share, with the final issue price fixed at the upper end of the band. The stock therefore recorded no premium or discount at the time of listing. 

By 10:16 AM IST, the share price had moved to ₹323.95, marking a 5% decline from the ₹341 listing price. 

₹49.54 Crore IPO Was Entirely A Fresh Issue 

The public issue comprised 14.53 lakh fresh shares and raised ₹49.54 crore. There was no offer-for-sale component in the IPO.

After setting aside 72,800 shares for the market maker, the net offer to the public stood at 13.80 lakh shares. The company had set the IPO price at ₹341 per share. 

IPO Received 2.53 Times Subscription 

Vama Wovenfab IPO received overall subscription of 2.53 times, with bids for 34.98 lakh shares against 13.80 lakh shares available to public investors.

The retail portion was subscribed 2.80 times, while the NII category received 1.56 times subscription. The QIB portion, excluding the market-maker allocation, was subscribed 1 time.

The issue received 4,089 applications by the close of bidding on September 17. 

Retail Investors Accounted For Majority Of Offer 

Retail investors were allocated 10.89 lakh shares, accounting for 78.96% of the net public offer. NII investors received 2.76 lakh shares, while QIB investors were allotted 14,400 shares.

Within the NII segment, the portion for applications above ₹10 lakh was subscribed 2.32 times, while the portion below ₹10 lakh received 2.03 times subscription.

Minimum Retail Application Required ₹2.73 Lakh 

The minimum retail application was fixed at 800 shares. At the final issue price of ₹341 per share, the minimum application amount worked out to ₹2,72,800.

For S-HNI investors, the minimum application was 1,200 shares, requiring ₹4,09,200 at the issue price. 

Shares Trade Below Listing Price At 10:16 AM 

After opening at ₹341, Vama Wovenfab shares moved below the listing level during the morning session. At 10:16 AM IST on September 22, the stock was quoted at ₹323.95.

At that level, the shares were ₹17.05, or 5%, below the ₹341 listing price, while remaining subject to the trading conditions applicable to the BSE SME segment. 

Vama Wovenfab Debut Follows ₹49.54 Crore IPO 

The BSE SME listing marks the company’s transition from the IPO process to secondary-market trading. The issue was open from September 15 to September 17, 2026, with allotment finalised on September 18. 

The company had offered a fresh issue of 14.53 lakh shares at ₹341 each, with the IPO receiving 2.53 times overall subscription before the shares began trading on September 22.
