Wednesday, December 10, 2025: Vidya Wires share price had a flat debut in the Indian stock market on December 10. The stock was listed at ₹52 per share on the NSE, matching its issue price. On the BSE, Vidya Wires share price opened slightly higher at ₹52.13, marking a 0.25% rise from the issue price, signalling a steady but muted market entry.
By the end of the trading session Vidya Wires Limited closed at ₹52.80 on the NSE as of 10 December 2025, marking a ₹0.80 or 1.54% rise from both its open and issue price of ₹52. The stock moved between a high of ₹58.45 and a low of ₹50.00, with a closing price of ₹53.17 and a VWAP of ₹55.53. Total traded volume stood at 952.16 lakh shares, with all orders on the sell side, and the company recorded a market cap of ₹1,123.02 crore on its listing day.
On the BSE, the shares closed at ₹53.14 on 10 December 2025 at 16:00 IST, marking a gain of ₹1.01 (1.94%) and an overall rise of ₹1.14 (2.19%). The stock opened at ₹52.13, touched a high of ₹58.48 and a low of ₹50.09, with a VWAP of ₹55.70. Its 52-week range stood between ₹58.48 and ₹50.09. Vidya Wires reported a traded quantity of 119.14 lakh shares, generating a turnover of ₹66.36 crore. The company’s full market cap stood at ₹1,130.25 crore, with a free-float market cap of ₹214.61 crore

Vidya Wires IPO was a book build issue of ₹300.01 crores. The issue is a combination of fresh issue of 5.27 crore shares aggregating to ₹274.00 crores and offer for sale of 0.50 crore shares aggregating to ₹26.01 crores. The IPO bidding started from December 3, 2025 and ended on December 5, 2025. The allotment for Vidya Wires IPO was finalised on Dec 8, 2025.
Vidya Wires IPO price band is set at ₹52.00 per share. The lot size for an application is 288. The minimum amount of investment required by an retail is ₹14,976 (288 shares) (based on upper price). Pantomath Capital Advisors Pvt.Ltd. is the book running lead manager and MUFG Intime India Pvt.Ltd. is the registrar of the issue.
The company had also raised anchor investment by allocating 1,73,07,991 shares at a price of ₹52 per equity share to the anchor investors. The Vidya Wires IPO was subscribed 28.53 times. The public issue subscribed 29.98 times in the retail category, 5.45 times in the QIB category, and 55.94 times in the NII category.
Vidya Wires Use of IPO Proceeds
As per the RHP filed, the company intended to use the IPO proceeds for three strategic purposes, starting with funding its capital requirements for setting up new projects, the subsidiary, viz. ALCU. It also underlined that the IPO proceeds will be used for repaying or prepaying debts. The remaining amount was earmarked for general corporate purposes.
