Mumbai, October 27, 2025: The share price of Vodafone Idea Ltd (NSE: IDEA) surged 9.87% to a 52-week high of ₹10.57 on Monday, buoyed by the recent Supreme Court ruling permitting the Center to revisit Vodafone Idea’s case.

Court’s Observation and Context
The Supreme Court of India, in its recent ruling, noted that there is no impediment for the Central Government to reconsider the issues raised by Vodafone Idea and take an appropriate decision in the matter. The court clarified that its order was specific to this case, considering the Centre’s equity stake in the company and its over 20 crore customer base. The ruling has been perceived as a crucial relief for the financially strained telecom operator, paving the way for possible government review of key matters affecting its financial and operational future.
