New Delhi, November 11, 2025: The share price of Vodafone Idea Ltd is trading at ₹10.01, which is a 5.37% gain as of 11:27 AM on Monday. Vodafone Idea Ltd announced its financial results for the quarter ended September 30, 2025. The company reported a consolidated net loss of ₹5,524 crore. This was narrowed by ₹7,176 crore in the same period last year.

Financial Performance Highlights

The company reported a net loss of ₹5,524 crore. Its revenue from operations was recorded at ₹11,195 crore. This is up 2.4% YoY. The finance cost declined 27% to ₹4,784.4 crore. This is a ₹6,613.6 crore in the significant period last year. The company attributed its performance improvement in the bottom line to a reduction in its bank debt. This dropped to ₹1,542 crore from ₹3,250 crore a year ago.

Debt Profile and Liabilities

Vodafone Idea’s outstanding bank debt was at ₹1,542 crore as of September 30, 2025. The company’s deferred spectrum and AGR payment obligations were up ₹2.01 lakh crore. This is payable through FY2044 and FY2031, respectively. The company’s net worth remains negative. This was recorded at ₹82,460 crore. The company faced a cumulative loss of ₹12,132 crore in the first half of FY26.

Operational Metrics

Vodafone Idea continued to face a loss in its subscriber base despite ARPU improvement. The company reported a 4% decline in its user base to 19.6 crore. The user base was recorded at 20.5 crore a year earlier. Despite all the losses in its subscriber base, the company’s postpaid subscribers increased to 2.79 crore.

Vodafone CEO Abhijit Kishore said that, across 17 circles where we hold spectrum, we have expanded our coverage to over 84% of the population. We have completed the 5G rollout where we hold the spectrum. The company targets about 90% of 4G coverage and broader 5G expansion in regions of high adoption.

Capex and Funding Plans

During the second quarter of FY26, Vodafone Idea invested ₹ 1,750 crore in capital expenditure (capex) and ₹4,200 crore in the first half of FY26. To support its planned capex of ₹50,000-55,000 crore, the company is in talks with its lenders to secure additional debt financing.

Share Price Update

The share price of Vodafone Idea opened at ₹9.76, hit a high of ₹10.11, and a low of ₹9.62. The company has a market capitalization of ₹1.08 lakh crore. In the 52 weeks, the stock has traded between a high of ₹10.57 and a low of ₹6.12. In the last year, Vodafone Idea shares have gained 27%, 41% in the last six months, and 7.05% in the last five days.
