What Higher Volumes Indicate
A sharp rise in trading volumes often points to increased market participation. Such moves can be driven by corporate announcements, earnings expectations, sector-specific developments or broader investor sentiment. However, volume alone does not determine the future direction of a stock and is typically analysed alongside price action and fundamentals.
Conclusion
Trading activity broadened across several mid-cap and small-cap counters on June 30, with Veljan Denison, Divgi TorqTransfer Systems and Signpost India leading the list of volume gainers. The spike in turnover suggests these stocks are likely to remain on investors’ radar in the coming sessions.
