Whirlpool of India Q1 Net Profit Declines 29.5% to Rs 102.88 Cr, Revenue Rises 12%

New Delhi: Consumer durables maker Whirlpool of India Ltd on Wednesday reported a 29.57 per cent decline in its consolidated net profit to Rs 102.88 crore in the June quarter of FY27.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 146.08 crore during the April-June quarter of the preceding fiscal, according to a regulatory filing. However, the Indian subsidiary of the US-based Whirlpool Corporation logged a 12.1 per cent rise in revenue from operations to Rs 2,726.75 crore in the quarter under review, compared to Rs 2,432.32 crore in the year-ago period.
Whirlpool of India’s total expenses increased 16 per cent to Rs 2,656.89 crore in the June quarter. Total income was up 12.43 per cent at Rs 2,795.64 crore in Q1 FY27.
Meanwhile, in a separate filing, Whirlpool of India Ltd informed of a reshuffle at the top level, with Anish Ahuja, Head–Service, assuming the role of Chief Operating Officer at Whirlpool of India Kitchen Appliances Ltd (Elica India), a material subsidiary of the company, effective September 1, 2026. He will be reporting to CEO & Managing Director Pralhad Bhutada.
The company also said Ankit Gupta, Head–Manufacturing Finance, has resigned with effect from August 14, while Sourav Chakravarty will be appointed as Head–Manufacturing Finance from August 10, 2026.
Shares of Whirlpool of India Ltd on Wednesday settled 1.7 per cent lower at Rs 806.65 apiece on the BSE.
