Enhancing National Security through Indigenous Innovation

These improvements have come in response to operational feedback from missions like Op Sindoor and underscore the growing relevance of indigenous defence technology. The company said India’s dependence upon foreign systems poses a risk related to export controls, besides slower response times for crises. The new contracts are part of the government’s “Atmanirbhar Bharat” initiative to promote Indigenously Designed, Developed and Manufactured (IDDM) systems.
