Zinka Logistics Soars After GSAM Stake Sale, Nomura Lifts Holding

New Delhi, September 2, 2025 – Zinka Logistics Solutions surged nearly 5% in Tuesday’s session as heavyweight investors reshuffled their positions in the stock. The move came after GSAM Holdings LLC, an affiliate of Goldman Sachs Asset Management, pared its stake while Nomura significantly raised its exposure. Bulk deal data showed GSAM offloaded 49.09 lakh shares, amounting to a 2.74% stake, at an average price of ₹600.32 per share. The transaction was valued at about ₹295 crore.
Note that effective August 20, 2025, Zinka Logistics changed its name to BlackBuck Ltd., which is registrar-approved.
Nomura Balanced the Exit
Countering the exit, Nomura India Investment Fund Mother Fund stepped in as a major buyer, picking up 41.16 lakh shares, or a 2.3% stake, for nearly ₹247 crore at an average price of ₹599.77 per share. This pushed Nomura’s holding in Zinka Logistics to 3.94% from 1.64%.
Share Market Performance
Blackbuck shares closed at ₹619, which is a 2.27% dip on September 2, 2025. Blackbuck shares gained 138% in the last year, 51% in the previous six months, and gained 31.69% in the last month. Blackbuck Ltd opened trading at ₹636.00 and moved between a low of ₹602.70 and a high of ₹667.75 during the session. The company’s market capitalisation stands at around ₹10,620 crore. Over the past year, the stock has touched a 52-week high of ₹669.90 and a low of ₹248.35. At current levels, it trades at a very steep P/E ratio of 401.62.
