HDFC SKY Launches Scalper Terminal for Faster, Smarter Options Trading; InvestRight Gets the Same Edge, Powered by NXTOption

HDFC SKY, the discount broking app by HDFC Securities, has rolled out Scalper Terminal, a purpose-built trading workspace for active options traders who need to act fast when markets move, and the same experience is also live on InvestRight, the company’s premium broking platform, as well.

The two versions share the same core idea but run on different engines. On HDFC SKY, Scalper Mode was built in-house by HDFC Securities’ product team. On InvestRight, the same experience is powered by NXTOption, one of the company’s technology partners. Either way, the goal is the same: give traders one screen that does everything, instead of ten tabs.

We built it in-house for HDFC SKY and brought in NXTOption to power the same experience on InvestRight, so traders on either platform get speed and precision without having to compromise on either.”

Scalper Terminal is built for traders who live and die by seconds. It pulls together live data, one-click execution, and a workspace you can customize, so you are not fumbling between screens mid-trade. The interface stays out of the way, letting traders focus on the market instead of the app.

Key highlights of the Scalper Terminal include:

• 3-Pane command centre: Spot, Call, and Put charts load side by side and stay in sync. Change the strike or expiry once, and everything else (charts, Greeks, option chain) updates on its own.
• Visual order management: Drag your stop-loss or target right on the chart instead of typing prices into a box while the market runs away from you. You will see your tick distance, percentage offset, and expected P&L update live as you drag. One tap on the exit icon closes the position and cancels any linked orders.
• Built-in risk controls: Bracket orders come with a 0.15% buffer between your trigger and limit price by default, so a sudden spike does not skip your exit. There is also a 1-tap mode for firing off market orders with preset stop-loss and target levels when you don’t have time to think.
• Everything in one sidebar: Option chain, open positions, order tracking, market alerts, and the SKAI AI assistant all live in a single side panel, so you are not hunting through menus.
• Faster order execution on InvestRight: Keyboard shortcuts let you place orders without touching the mouse, cutting out the extra clicks scalpers can’t afford.
