ACME Solar Adds 19.8 MW to Gujarat Wind Project; Nearing Full Operational Rollout of 50 MW Project

ACME Solar Holdings Ltd (NSE: ACMESOLAR | BSE: 544283) has successfully commissioned an additional 19.8 MW of its 50 MW wind power project located in Shapar, Gujarat, through its wholly owned subsidiary, ACME Pokhran Solar Pvt. Ltd.
The latest commissioning adds to the 26.4 MW capacity that went live on May 28, 2025, bringing the total operational capacity of the project to 46.2 MW. The final 3.8 MW is expected to be commissioned shortly.

The wind project forms part of ACME’s broader strategy to strengthen its presence in hybrid and firm-dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) solutions.
Project Highlights
- Location: Shapar, Gujarat, a high wind resource region
- Financed by: Power Finance Corporation (PFC)
- EPC: Executed in-house by ACME Solar’s engineering division
- Turbine Model: Envision 3.3 MW wind turbines
- Transmission: Power is pooled at a 33/220 kV pooling station and evacuated through a dedicated 220 kV single-circuit transmission line to the Shapar substation
- Shared Infrastructure: The same Shapar substation will be used for ACME’s upcoming 100 MW wind project, currently in advanced stages of construction
- Power Purchase Agreement: 25-year PPA signed with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd (GUVNL)
The current project shares evacuation infrastructure with another ACME wind project under advanced construction in the same region.
