ACME Solar Secures 275 MW/550 MWh BESS Project from NHPC in Andhra Pradesh

Gurugram, June 26 – ACME Solar Holdings Limited (NSE: ACMESOLAR | BSE: 544283) has secured its first standalone Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project, winning the NHPC bid for a cumulative capacity of 275 MW / 550 MWh in Andhra Pradesh. The award spans two projects located at Kuppam and Ghani.
Project Details and Tariff Overview
The company’s success includes two separate bids under NHPC’s February 2025 tender:

This award marks a pivotal diversification for ACME Solar as it enters the standalone BESS segment, complementing its existing portfolio of solar, wind, FDRE, and hybrid renewable assets. The win comes under NHPC’s initiative to bolster grid stability and renewable energy integration in Andhra Pradesh.
