Adani Green Commissions 50 MW Solar-Wind Plant in Khavda

Ahmedabad, August 8, 2025 – Adani Green Energy Limited (NSE: ADANIGREEN, BSE: 541450) has commissioned a 50 MW solar-wind hybrid power project at Khavda, Gujarat, through its step-down subsidiary, Adani Renewable Energy Three Limited.
With this latest addition, the company’s total operational renewable generation capacity now stands at 15,865.5 MW, further strengthening its position in India’s clean energy sector.
The commissioning decision was finalized early this morning at 7:29 a.m., after obtaining the required clearances, and the project became operational the same day.
The share price of Adani Green Energy Limited is trading at 10:30 am at ₹926.40, with a backward shift of ₹9.40 from its previous close of ₹936.70.
Installed Capacity Overview
The company’s overall operational capacity is currently 15,865.5 MW. The company has added 50 MW to its existing operational capacity of 15,815.5 MW, following the start-up of a new project. The newly added asset speaks to the continued expansion activities of the company and its focus on developing more energy production capacity. This increases the capacity to serve the company and help it pursue its strategic growth and consolidate its place in the energy market.

Khavda project On 8 August 2025, the 50 MW solar-wind hybrid Khavda project in Gujarat was commissioned.
