Adani Green Energy Limited operationalised a 150 MW solar power project at Khavda in Gujarat, taking its total renewable energy capacity close to the 20 GW mark, while shares traded lower on May 11.

Mumbai, May 11: Adani Green Energy said its wholly owned stepdown subsidiary, Adani Green Energy Twenty Five C Limited, has operationalised a 150 MW solar power project at Khavda in Gujarat.
According to the company’s exchange filing, the project commenced power generation on May 10, after receiving the required regulatory clearances. With the latest commissioning, Adani Green’s total operational renewable energy generation capacity has increased to 19,735.8 MW.
The company also said its operational battery energy storage system capacity has now reached 1,376 MWh.
The Khavda region has emerged as one of India’s largest renewable energy development zones, with several large-scale solar and hybrid projects under construction or operational across the area.
The latest capacity addition pushes Adani Green closer to the 20 GW operational renewable energy milestone as the company continues expanding utility-scale clean energy infrastructure.
Stock Market Snapshot
Despite the commissioning update, Adani Green share price traded lower during early market hours.
The stock was quoted at ₹1,339.50 on May 11, down 1.20% from the previous close of ₹1,355.80, according to market data.
As of 9:30 a.m. IST, the stock moved within a session range of ₹1,324.40 to ₹1,348.10.
The company’s market stood near ₹2.21 lakh crore during the session.
The stock continued to trade near its 52-week high of ₹1,378 as investors monitored renewable energy expansion, project execution and funding requirements across the sector.

Company Continues Expanding Renewable Energy Portfolio
Adani Green Energy Limited is among India’s largest renewable energy companies, with projects spanning solar, wind and hybrid renewable power generation.
The company has been rapidly scaling its operational portfolio through phased commissioning of renewable projects across Gujarat, Rajasthan and other states.
