New Delhi, October 29, 2025: In a recent regulatory announcement, Adani Total Gas Limited (NSE: ATGL) announced its financial results for the quarter ended September 2025. The company reported that its net profit declined by 9% even though its revenue increased by 19%.

Factors Behind the Financial Results

The company reported a 19% year-on-year increase in operating revenue to ₹1,569 crore. The increase in the revenue of the company was driven by higher gas prices. Further, sales of compressed natural gas rose by 18% to 191 million standard cubic meters, whereas sales of piped natural gas rose by 11% to 89 million standard cubic meters.

However, despite high revenue, the company reported a net profit of ₹162 crore for the second quarter of FY26, which was down from ₹178 crore in the same quarter last year. The decrease in the profit can mainly be attributed to market volatility and reduced availability of lower-cost APM gas from ONGC’s legacy fields.

Further, the company is resorting to more expensive options, such as imported LNG and has decided to maintain current prices despite rising input costs. This means that the additional expenses will not be passed on to customers. The company has decided to absorb the impact to retain its customer base and support continued sales growth.

What the Company Had to Say

Shedding some light on the company’s financials and operations, Suresh P. Manglani, CEO of Adani Total Gas, said, “The ATGL team has posted another robust quarter with volumes up by 16% and revenue up by 20% over the corresponding quarter of the previous year.”
