Aditya Birla Capital Limited (ABCL), the financial services business of the Aditya Birla Group, released its Q4 and FY25 results on May 13, 2025. Post the result announcement, ABCL shares are trading with a 5% surge on May 14, 2025.

Q4 & FY25 Performance Highlights:

For the financial year ended 31st March 2025, ABCL registered robust 20% year-on-year revenue growth at ₹47,369 crore. Q4 revenue grew to ₹14,138 crore, a 13% YoY increase.

Consolidated operating profit increased 19% YoY to ₹5,475 crore in FY25. ABCL’s profit after tax increased 8% YoY to ₹3,142 crore. Operating profit increased 25% to ₹1,672 crore. The company’s net profit increased 6% to ₹865 crore in Q4FY25.

Finance and Insurance Business is also part of the performance. ABCL’s housing finance book and NBFC rose very strongly in the year. Lending book went up 27% YoY and 8% quarter-on-quarter to ₹1,57,404 crore.

NBFC business in specific recorded 20% YoY AUM growth at ₹1,26,351 crore and the housing finance business recorded 69% YoY growth with AUM of ₹31,053 crore.

In the insurance industry, an individual in the life insurance business posted first-year premium growth of 34% year on year to ₹4,115 crore, and the health insurance business by 33% with gross written premiums at ₹4,940 crore in FY25.

Overall collections in the health insurance business and life insurance business were ₹25,579 crore, increasing 22% compared to the year ago.

Overall asset under management from asset management business, life insurance business, and health insurance business was ₹5,11,260 crore, increasing 17% on a year-over-year basis.

Dividend Announcement:

The Board has also recommended a final dividend of ₹10 per fully paid-up equity share of face value ₹5 each for FY25. The dividend will be paid within 30 days post approval at the company’s upcoming Annual General Meeting.

Stock Performance:

ABCL shares have witnessed a 1.9% dip in the last year and a 13% gain in the last month.
