Aegeus Technologies IPO opened for subscription on a subdued note, with the issue subscribed 0.11 times by late morning on Day 1 as retail investors accounted for most of the bids received.

Mumbai, August 04: The Aegeus Technologies IPO opened for public subscription on Monday and saw a cautious start, with investors gradually placing bids during the first trading session. By 10:59 AM, the BSE SME public issue had been subscribed 0.11 times, reflecting the typical slow pace often seen in the early hours of SME IPOs.
Retail investors accounted for most of the initial participation, while qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) were yet to place bids. Activity in the non-institutional investor (NII) segment also remained limited as the three-day subscription window got underway.
According to exchange data, investors had bid for 1.54 lakh shares against 13.61 lakh shares available for subscription, excluding the market maker portion. The issue had received 57 applications at the time of the latest update.

Retail investors emerged as the most active category on the opening day, with their reserved portion subscribed 0.20 times. The bNII category recorded limited interest at 0.11 times, while the sNII segment was yet to receive bids. QIB participation remained absent during the morning session, which is common as institutional investors often bid closer to the issue’s closing day.
IPO Details
Aegeus Technologies is looking to raise ₹23.71 crore through an entirely fresh issue of 22.58 lakh equity shares. There is no offer for sale (OFS) in the public issue.
The IPO is priced in the range of ₹100 to ₹105 per share.
Retail investors can apply for a minimum of 2,400 shares, requiring an investment of ₹2.52 lakh at the upper end of the price band. Ahead of the IPO opening, the company mobilised ₹6.01 crore from anchor investors.
