Anawil Wire & Engineering IPO continued to attract healthy investor interest on Day 2, with the issue subscribed 6.01 times as strong retail and institutional participation kept the book well covered.

Mumbai, August 04: The Anawil Wire & Engineering IPO continued to witness healthy investor participation on the second day of bidding, with demand comfortably outpacing the shares on offer. The ₹177.81 crore NSE SME issue was subscribed 6.01 times by 10:44 AM on Tuesday, driven by solid interest from both retail investors and qualified institutional buyers.
With the public issue set to close on August 5, investors continued to place bids across all major categories. While institutional investors maintained a strong presence, retail participation also remained robust, indicating broad-based demand for the wind energy components manufacturer.
Exchange data showed bids for 2.63 crore equity shares against 43.79 lakh shares available for subscription, excluding the market maker portion. By the latest update, the issue had received 18,786 applications.

- Fresh Issue: 49.53 lakh equity shares worth ₹142.69 crore
- Offer for Sale (OFS): 13 lakh equity shares worth ₹35.12 crore
The IPO is priced at ₹257-₹270 per share.
Retail investors can bid for a minimum of 400 shares, translating into an investment of ₹2.16 lakh at the upper end of the price band. The company had also raised ₹50.64 crore from anchor investors before the issue opened.
