Mumbai, August 04: Following the close of most of the bidding period, investor interest in the G.V. Electricals IPO remained exceptionally strong, with the BSE SME public issue attracting heavy demand from retail as well as non-institutional investors on the final day of subscription. As of 10:39 AM on Tuesday, the ₹42.25 crore IPO had been subscribed 33.56 times, while bidding will continue until the close of market hours today.

The issue has seen a sharp acceleration in demand over the last two sessions. After closing Day 2 with more than 22 times subscription, fresh bids on the final day further boosted overall demand, particularly from high-net-worth investors.

According to exchange data, investors had placed bids for 6.99 crore equity shares against 20.82 lakh shares available for subscription, excluding the market maker reservation. The IPO had received 26,984 applications by the latest update.

G.V. Electricals IPO Details

G.V. Electricals is looking to raise ₹42.25 crore through a combination of:

  • Fresh Issue: 30 lakh equity shares aggregating ₹39.00 crore
  • Offer for Sale: 2.50 lakh equity shares aggregating ₹3.25 crore

The IPO is priced in the range of ₹123 to ₹130 per share. Investors can bid in lots of 1,000 shares, requiring a minimum investment of ₹2,60,000 at the upper price band.

Ahead of the public issue, the company raised ₹11.54 crore from anchor investors.
